Nishimura Works has been certified as compliant with environmental management system ISO14001.
Nishimura Works has been certified as compliant with environmental management system ISO14001 by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance, which is itself recognized by United Kingdom Accreditation Service.
Nishimura Works understands the need to maintain eco-friendly business activities and to implement environmental initiatives proactively.
We recognize certification as a single step in sustained operation of an environmental management system that is capable of being modified to stay up to date with the continually changing needs of environmental conservation.

■ Environmental philosophy
All of us at Nishimura Works are committed to ensuring that all of our business activities?the manufacture and sales of molded or stamped optical, mobile communication, backlighting and other components?are eco-friendly, that our customers’ environmental concerns are addressed, and that the global environment is protected.
■ Basic policies

1.
To comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and other agreed-to requirements as well as to promote environmental protection initiatives as necessary to provide all our customers with safe and reliable products.
2.
To commit to the sustained operation and enhancement of an environmental management system capable of preventing environmental contamination as well as to the application of that system to all our business activities, including products, services, technology, and guidance provided to our business partners.
3.
To promote the establishment of specific objectives and targets for the following activities to be undertaken by all of us at Nishimura Works.

To promote conservation through initiatives for reducing the use of energy and resources.
(2)
To eliminate waste and reduce costs throughout the workplace.
(3)
To eliminate the need for waste disposal through initiatives for reduction, reuse, and recycling (the “Three R’s”)
(4)
To implement strict management of all environmental chemicals.

To raise awareness of environmental issues among our employees by sharing up-to-date and useful information.
5.
These environmental policies are to be documented and publicized both within the company and without, via the Internet and any other means necessary to promote the implementation of far-ranging and varied environmental initiatives.
